The World's First Hybrid Laser Hair Removal: Using Dual Wavelengths blended and firing simultaneously, Splendor X has both the Alexandrite 755nm (lighter skin tones) and the Nd:YAG 1064 wavelengths (darker skin tones), being safe on all ethnicities. The benefit blending a mix of both wavelengths for most situations is you can attack deeper hair follicles as well as the vasculature feeding these follicles, essentially killing the hair and the blood supply to the hair, resulting in more effective treatments, in less sessions.
Splendor X uses both integrated Zimmer Air Chilling as well as a chilled tip to doubly ensure a safe treatment. By chilling the skin surface, the laser will preferentially heat into the deeper dermis where the hair follicles are and is less likely to be attracted to skin pigment (less burn or PIH risk).
Developed by Lumenis, Splendor X™ provides fast and effective hair removal and skin services for a wider range of skin tones than previous solutions.
Splendor X™ is the world’s first hybrid laser hair removal method using an innovative blend of two wavelengths, letting us attack deeper hair follicles and provide better results for you.
The benefits include:
How does it work?
Laser hair removal uses a laser light energy with a specific wavelength. During treatment, lasers emit energy in the form of light onto the skin. The melanin in the hair absorbs this energy and converts it into heat which then destroys the hair follicles to prevent or stop future growth. BLEND X technology harnesses the power of two wavelengths for greater effectiveness for hair-free skin.
What can I expect after treatment?
How the area will look right after treatment varies from person to person. You may have some redness and swelling around hair follicles straight after. In the following weeks you will notice less hair growth as you progress through the course of your treatments. Your treatment provider will give you aftercare guidelines, especially pertaining to sun protection.
You should see between 85-95% hair reduction after 6-8 treatments. To maintain long-term results, it’s best to get touch-up treatments 1-2 times each year following the completion of your treatments.
