Complete Skin Exam

Complete Skin Exam is a skin cancer screening performed by our PA, who will evaluate various moles from head to toe. Knowing the ABCDE warning signs of melanoma (asymmetry, border, color, diameter, &/or evolving changes) can be life saving. If you have a new mole/growth, see any signs of change in an existing mole, or you want a mole removed for cosmetic reasons, schedule your skin exam to have proper evaluation first and foremost. Skin cancer screenings should be performed at least yearly unless you have had a history of skin cancer, then it would be more frequently. Family history of skin cancer, tanning bed use or lack of regular sunscreen use increases your risk of developing skin cancer.  Early detection is essential for preventive skin health.
