Rosacea is a common inflammatory skin condition that causes redness and dilated blood vessels on the central face. It is an acneiform eruption that can be characterized by small, red, papule and pustules resembling acne. There are different triggers that exacerbate rosacea particularly sun exposure. Rosacea is often misdiagnosed, so it is important to have a comprehensive skin evaluation by our PA.
